Thomas Stern は、欧州金融市場法および国境を越えた銀行監督において約20年の職歴を有する法学者・規制専門家です。Bergt Law 参画前には、リヒテンシュタイン金融市場庁（FMA）で複数の上級職を務め、直近では銀行・投資会社処理部門の責任者、それ以前は銀行監督部門の副責任者を務めました。

リヒテンシュタインおよび欧州の銀行・金融市場法を中心に、MiCAR、PSD2、MiFID II、CRD/CRR に基づく認可、登録、監督上の問題を扱います。規制対象ビジネスモデルについて、戦略設計と市場参入から継続的コンプライアンス、ガバナンス、監督当局との対話まで支援します。

ガバナンス、コンプライアンス、fit & proper、内部統制、規制組織、当局との構造化されたコミュニケーションを、国境を越える案件も含め支援します。

再編、回復・処理

企業再編、予防的倒産法、recovery / resolution 制度に専門性を有し、回復計画、早期介入、処理計画、危機管理を扱います。

研究、立法、欧州委員会

欧州の大学で教鞭を執り、約100本の専門論文、法注釈、編集著作を有します。欧州法令、標準、監督政策にも長年携わり、欧州委員会、EBA、SSM の専門家組織への参加経験があります。

Thomas Stern は、リヒテンシュタインで法学分野の Habilitation（venia legendi）を授与された歴史上初の法学者です。授業資格は欧州法・EEA法の基礎を含む銀行・金融市場法を対象とします。
