Decentralized Finance (DeFi) describes a form of finance without central financial intermediaries. The work was published in June 2023 as a freely available Open Access ePDF and in July 2023 as a print edition by Nomos in Baden-Baden.
Its central focus is the interplay between behavioral finance and public policy in emerging decentralized financial systems. The analysis combines social and economic sciences, legal studies and psychological perspectives, with particular emphasis on financial market regulation.
